Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Hold or have held either an ICAO ATPL or CPL license.
- As required by the Training Centers they serve and NAA requirements, hold or have held either FAA instructor certificate or a Part FCL instructor certificate issued by an EASA member state or an equivalent 900 (c) qualification related to the flight training courses provided by the ATO relating to their training domain.
- Ideal candidates bring multi-domain experience (e.g., BAT, CAT, FTO) and can support multiple business units, leveraging their expertise to complement the broader cadre of Local Training Standards Lead roles.
- Have extensive experience in training MPA pilots for professional pilot licenses and/or associated ratings or certificates with experience of Multi Crew Cooperation/CRM.
- Three or more years’ experience delivering or managing instructor training at an ATO and/or AOC.
- Have a working knowledge of either Part FCL/ORA, CFR Part 61, 135, and 142 regulations as appropriate.

- Be an effective communicator and liaison between local instructor teams and the Global Head of Standards.

- Capable of managing responsibilities across multiple training centers, including remote leadership.
- Good knowledge and experience with Microsoft TEAMS as well as with MS Word and PowerPoint tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cultivate, nurture, monitor, plan, schedule global standards procedures locally. This is the foundation of the Local Training Standards Lead role, ensuring consistent application of global training standards across all operations.
- Assure instructor pilot performance utilizing established observation tools such as IPPM and/or DOI. Schedule, plan, analyze results, and make recommendations from local observations to the global Team for continuous improvement.
- Responsible for delivering instructor training sessions (online and in-person). Supporting the development and maintenance of Instructor training courseware support materials.
- Provide SME support and guidance to local instructors to maintain alignment with global standardization policies. Conduct foundational Civil Global IDT
- Coordinate and facilitate governance and a frequency of communication to stay well connected with the local Team, specifically the Local Training Standards Specialists, Lead Instructors, local Head of Training, Training Managers and the Center Leader.
