Lead Quality Engineer

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, preferably with certifications in Quality Management (e.g., ISO 9001).
– At least 7 years of progressive experience in quality engineering within the oil and gas industry, specifically with ADNOC offshore, island, and PMC projects.
– Strong knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices relevant to offshore oil and gas operations.
– Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing quality teams and driving compliance initiatives.
– Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to identify quality issues and implement effective solutions.
– Proficient in conducting audits, inspections, and preparing technical quality documentation.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a multicultural environment.
– Willingness to work in offshore and island environments as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Lead and manage the quality assurance and quality control processes for ADNOC offshore and island projects, ensuring all activities meet regulatory and company standards.
– Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and procedures tailored to offshore oil and gas operations.
– Coordinate with project management teams and contractors to enforce quality standards and resolve non-conformities promptly.
– Conduct audits, inspections, and reviews of project documentation, materials, and workmanship to identify risks and improve quality outcomes.
– Train and mentor quality engineering team members to enhance their skills and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
– Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, findings, and corrective actions for senior management and stakeholders.
– Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure quality compliance of purchased materials and equipment.
