Junior Project Manager
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Basic proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
- Strong written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to follow processes and instructions consistently
- Comfortable working with structured workflows and repetitive tasks
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Reliable internet connection and computer access
RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Coordination & Execution
- Assist in planning, organizing, and tracking project timelines and deliverables
- Break down project tasks and ensure clear assignment to team members
- Monitor progress and ensure tasks are completed on schedule
- Follow up on delays, blockers, or dependencies
- Support project managers in day-to-day coordination activities
Task & Workflow Management
- Review incoming project-related requests and prioritize accordingly
- Assign and route tasks to appropriate stakeholders
- Track task progress from initiation to completion
- Maintain clear documentation of task status and updates
- Ensure workflows follow defined processes and standards
Data Management & Documentation
- Maintain and update project trackers (Google Sheets / Excel / project tools)
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Organize project documentation using structured systems
- Maintain logs of updates, changes, and key project actions
- Identify and resolve inconsistencies or missing information
Reporting & Communication
- Prepare regular project status updates and summaries
- Communicate progress, risks, and issues clearly to stakeholders
- Identify recurring challenges or inefficiencies
- Escalate risks or delays when necessary
- Support internal reporting with accurate and organized data
Scheduling & Team Coordination
- Assist with scheduling meetings, deadlines, and milestones
- Track team availability and project timelines
- Send reminders for upcoming deadlines and deliverables
- Support onboarding coordination and checklist tracking
Quality Assurance & Process Improvement
- Review project outputs for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and SOPs
- Maintain consistency in documentation and reporting
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and efficiency
- Support updates to internal documentation and procedures
