Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 0 to 2 years of accounting experience. Fresh graduates with strong academic records or relevant internships will be considered.
• Exposure to pharmacy, pharmaceutical distribution, or retail healthcare accounting is an advantage, not a requirement.
• Basic understanding of UAE VAT and IFRS, with a willingness to build technical knowledge on the job.
• Strong Excel skills. Exposure to any accounting ERP or pharmacy POS system is an advantage.
• UAE experience preferred. Candidates currently based in the UAE will be prioritised.
• Accurate, detail oriented, and organized, with clear communication skills and the ability to work to deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Process day to day transactions across GL, AP, and AR, and prepare bank reconciliations for entities in the group.
• Post journal entries, maintain supporting schedules, and assist with the monthly close and preparation of MIS packs.
• Prepare intercompany balance reconciliations and assist with the schedules used in group

consolidation.

• Record pharmacy inventory movements, including goods received notes, stock transfers, and expiry write-offs, and support cycle counts at outlet level.
• Maintain insurance receivable records, including claim submission logs, rejections and resubmissions, and ageing reports for review.
• Compile data and supporting documentation for UAE VAT returns and other statutory filings.
• Prepare supplier and customer reconciliations and follow up on open items, invoices, and outstanding balances.
• Prepare audit schedules and collate supporting documents requested by external auditors.
• Maintain accurate and well organised accounting records in the ERP and flag discrepancies or unusual items to the Accounting Manager
