IT Network Lead

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology,  Computer  Science, or related field
• Proven experience in network administration or IT infrastructure roles
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.)
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless systems
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Leadership and team management abilities
• Good communication and coordination skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN)
• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability
• Lead and mentor the network support team and IT engineers
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues and outages
• Implement network security measures, firewalls, VPNs, and access controls
• Manage routers, switches, servers, and network hardware/software
• Ensure data security, backup, and disaster recovery planning
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers for network solutions
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration records
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and upgrades
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards
