Hydraulic Service engineer
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: Typically 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in hydraulic field service or workshop maintenance.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of high pressure hydraulic systems and circuits, troubleshooting, servicing, overhauling of hydraulic equipments,
- Soft Skills: Reporting and maintaining excellent customer communication for on-site client interactions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshooting & Diagnosis: Conduct fault-finding on complex hydraulic systems and interpret technical schematics, P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and engineering drawings.
- Maintenance & Repair: Disassemble, service, repair, and reassemble hydraulic components (e.g., cylinders, pumps, hoses, and valves).
- Testing & Commissioning: Pressure-test and commission newly installed or repaired hydraulic systems to verify performance and safety standards.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine health checks, oil flushing, and accumulator charging (e.g., using nitrogen kits).
- Client Reporting: Compile detailed technical reports, diagnostic findings, and repair quotations for customers and management.
- Design and Build: Design and build build of hydraulic cylinders and power packs, filtration units and other hydraulic units
- Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to strict safety regulations and environmental standards.
