Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in freight brokerage, logistics, transportation, dispatching, or carrier sales preferred
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with transportation software is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain relationships with shippers, carriers, and transportation partners
• Source available capacity and negotiate freight rates
• Coordinate freight movement from pickup through delivery
• Monitor shipments and provide timely updates to customers
• Resolve transportation issues and service disruptions professionally
• Maintain accurate records within company systems
• Work closely with operations and customer service teams
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to company growth
