REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in:
- Occupational Health & Safety
- Environmental Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Related field
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of HSE laws, standards, and regulations
- Experience in:
- Risk assessment
- Incident investigation
- Safety audits
- Permit-to-work systems
- Familiarity with:
- ISO 45001
- ISO 14001
- OSHA standards
- Construction/industrial safety procedures
- Ability to prepare professional HSE documentation and reports
Experience Requirements
- Typically 3–10 years of HSE experience.
- Freelance or project-based HSE support experience preferred.
- Experience in industries such as:
- Construction
- Oil & Gas
- Manufacturing
- Infrastructure
- Facilities Management
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct workplace safety inspections and HSE audits.
- Perform risk assessments and hazard identification activities.
- Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and safety plans.
- Ensure compliance with local HSE regulations and industry standards.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses and prepare reports.
- Deliver safety induction, toolbox talks, and HSE training sessions.
- Prepare HSE documentation including:
- Method Statements
- Risk Assessments (RA)
- Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Emergency Response Plans
- HSE Reports
- Monitor site safety practices and PPE compliance.
- Support clients during audits and regulatory inspections.
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions for safety improvement.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and client representatives.
- Promote a strong health and safety culture at project sites.
