Event Operations Specialist/Manager

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in event operations specifically within a cryptocurrency exchange environment.
• Deep understanding of spot and contract trading mechanics, including trading competitions, rebates, and deposit incentives.
• Strong data sensitivity with the ability to perform cost accounting and ROI analysis.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong cross-departmental coordination skills to drive execution across technical and non-technical teams.
• Proficiency in English; Chinese communication skills are highly preferred.

Preferred

• Experience working at a top-tier or high-growth Centralized Exchange (CEX).
• Familiarity with futures trading, quantitative strategies, copy trading, or trading bot-related activities.
• Experience building event SOPs, templates, ROI models, or data dashboards from scratch.
• Proficiency with tools such as Lark, Notion, Google Sheets, or BI Dashboards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and execute site-wide exchange activities, including trading competitions, deposit incentives, new user onboarding, futures/contract promotions, and referral programs.
• Develop comprehensive activity schemes including rules, reward mechanisms, scheduling, and promotion plans aligned with business goals.
• Coordinate with Product, Tech, Design, Data, Customer Service, Community, BD, Risk Control, and Marketing teams to manage the full lifecycle of an event from requirement to post-mortem.
• Manage the platform activity calendar, resource scheduling, user segmentation, and promotional material follow-ups.
• Track and analyze core metrics such as participation rates, trading volume, deposit volume, conversion rates, retention, and reward costs.
• Perform independent ROI calculations to evaluate cost-effectiveness and optimize future activity strategies.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify new growth strategies and mechanics.
