Embedded Security Project Manager

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Qualification in engineering, security technology, construction management, or a related field.
• Strong practical experience with Lenel OnGuard and Milestone XProtect.
• Proven experience delivering security systems in data centres or critical infrastructure environments.
• Knowledge of ACS/VMS integrations, intrusion detection, and IP-based security systems.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and Navisworks.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft 365.
• Ability to travel regularly across the Middle East region (typically every 1–2 weeks).

Preferred

• Familiarity with BIM/VDC processes.
• Experience with MS Project or Smartsheet.
• Strong technical problem-solving capabilities in fast-moving construction environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver the full lifecycle of physical and electronic security elements within data centre and critical infrastructure projects.
• Oversee technical installation quality, system integration accuracy, and alignment to global standards.
• Serve as the on-site embedded security representative, collaborating with construction, MEP, and infrastructure teams.
• Lead functional testing of ACS, VMS, IDS, intercoms, sensors, and physical hardware.
• Witness and validate commissioning performed by integrators to ensure readiness for handover.
• Oversee installation of perimeter fencing, turnstiles, gates, vehicle barriers, and door hardware.
• Produce structured site reports, track snags/punch lists, and review technical documentation.
• Review drawings and models using Bluebeam, ACC, and Navisworks to identify design gaps or installation conflicts.
