Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

Experience of regularly giving presentations to customers in a sales environment

Experience of working alongside a sales & product team, supporting them to help win new business.

Experience of working in the payments industry, preferably ecommerce

Previous required experience, as above, in the Middle East region Arabic language skills (added advantage)

Ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear and articulate fashion to both technical and non-technical audiences, in a sales-oriented manner

Ability to understand and write basis programming codes in commonly used scripting languages like JSP, PHP, CGI, XML, .net etc.

Ability to work independently with customers via phone, email and on-site with minimal supervision

In-depth technical, functional knowledge of various payment gateway products including MiGS,MPGS, CyberSource, Simplify, EPG, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES

a) Offer technical, functional and product integration support to merchant partners in order to get their checkout page, mobile app, IVR, CRM systems, etc. integrated with RAKBANK’s Payment Gateways & other web/mobile based acquiring products in a seamless and error free manner.

b) Provide technical pre-sales support by accompanying product & sales team to meetings with prospects. This would typically involve giving presentations to prospective and existing clients, providing product demonstrations, and using whiteboard sessions, all with a focus on maintaining a sales-oriented approach.

c) Deliver training sessions to colleagues and clients on the use of bank’s Payment Gateway products.

d) Provide proposal support to the sales team in order to accurately determine the feasibility, cost and time implications when responding to customer proposals for large relationships.

f) Write small internal computer applications to provide proof-of-concept ideas, to test our client’s e-commerce products, and to troubleshoot client issues

g) Coordinate with payment gateway providers on issues that requires their intervention and troubleshooting

h) Ensure compliance mandate monitoring & implementation.

i) Handle merchant on-boarding on various payment gateways, digital payment solutions offered by Bank such as Skiply, RAKBANK Simplify etc.

j) Assist Service Delivery Manager in performing BAU activities of the unit
