REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the fresh produce industry.
• Strong understanding of the fresh vegetables and fruits market, including supply chain and distribution channels.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage the business development team focused on fresh produce, specifically fresh vegetables and fruits.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales growth and market expansion in the fresh produce sector.
• Identify and establish relationships with key suppliers and partners to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality produce.
• Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, logistics, and operations, to optimize product offerings and delivery processes.
• Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards for quality and safety.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
