REQUIREMENTS
- Fully Remote. Must reside on the East Coast
- Minimum 3 year working in Healthcare office or settings
- Understanding of CPT Codes and insurance authorization process for behavioral health preferred; training will be provided to highly qualified candidates
- Ability to use compassion and judgment while maintaining strict confidentiality. Strict adherence and understanding of HIPAA.
- Excellent communication skills
- Organized and punctual, meeting all timelines without reminders
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks/duties

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Submits authorizations for ABA, SLP and Psychological Testing
- Communicates with clinical team for necessary updates and clinical information
- Enters all authorization information into EMR
- Updates system for clinician case transfers
- Maintains client records in EMR
- Including uploading Treatment plans, authorizations, insurance cards, etc
- Appeals adverse authorization determinations
- Follows up with clinical team for necessary information
- Attends peer calls to take clinical notes
- Performs insurance inquiries as necessary
- Connects with families for insurance issues
- Process Discharges
- Attends necessary webinars and CASP SIG
