Applied AI Engineer

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• 6+ years in software engineering
• 2+ years of focused experience building production AI or LLM-powered applications
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, and agentic workflow design
• Proficiency with low/no-code orchestration platforms (n8n, Make, Zapier)
• Strong backend or full-stack engineering fundamentals
• Fluency in Python, TypeScript, or Node.js
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and cloud deployment platforms (AWS, Vercel)
• Experience with multi-agent frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex
• Familiarity with vector databases and embedding pipelines

Preferred

• Experience in fintech, proptech, or real estate technology
• Knowledge of SOC 2 or data privacy frameworks

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Socialize AI capabilities, limitations, and roadmap across the organization
• Maintain a prioritized backlog of AI opportunities across the business
• Define AI initiatives end-to-end including problem framing and data requirements
• Build, integrate, and maintain AI-powered features using LLM APIs, RAG pipelines, and agentic frameworks
• Develop automation workflows using low/no-code orchestration tools like n8n or Make
• Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate AI into existing systems
• Collaborate with operations and business teams to identify workflow automation opportunities
