Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Statistical Analysis, Applied Statistics, or a closely related statistics-focused field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in statistical/data analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills – mandatory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written English and good professional spoken English.
- Ability to work independently and communicate findings clearly.
- Availability to work with at least 50% of daily working hours overlapping with 8:00 AM–4:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time.
Preferred
- Amazon Seller Central experience.
- Amazon Advertising experience.
- Experience analyzing e-commerce sales and profitability data.
- Experience working with ASIN-level performance data.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Analyze Amazon advertising, sales, and profitability performance by ASIN.
- Monitor key metrics including Ad Sales, Total Sales, Ad Spend, TACoS, ACoS, ROAS, Impressions, Clicks, CTR, CPC, Purchases, Detail Page Views, and New-to-Brand Orders.
- Analyze net margin and contribution profitability by ASIN.
- Identify declining margins, investigate likely causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Review top-selling ASINs at least twice a week and lower-priority ASINs at least once a week.
- Build and maintain historical Excel datasets and reports.
- Use historical data for trend analysis, forecasting, benchmarking, and event planning.
- Compare performance from events such as Prime Day and use insights to improve future strategies.
- Clearly communicate:
- What changed?
- Why did it change?
- What is the financial impact?
- What action should be taken?
