REQUIREMENTS
- Exceptional follow-up and organizational skills
- Strong phone communication skills and comfort with frequent outbound calls
- Proven ability to work remotely with accountability and minimal supervision
- Ability to navigate Excel and learn new computer programs efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Prior experience in roles requiring high-volume follow-up, tracking, or case/status management
- Experience in administrative, operations, insurance, healthcare, collections, or compliance roles is a plus
- Experience using spreadsheets or tracking tools to manage workflows
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and track appeals-related tasks from initiation through resolution
- Conduct consistent and professional follow-up via phone and email with internal teams and external parties
- Ensure deadlines are met through organized tracking and timely escalation when needed
- Accurately document communications and updates in firm systems
- Maintain appeal status reports and logs using Excel and internal computer programs
- Work independently while remaining responsive and accountable to leadership
