Vulnerability Management Specialist

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security with direct experience in Vulnerability Assessment and Compliance
• Hands-on experience with security technologies such as Tenable (Nessus/SC/IO), QualysGuard, or Rapid7 Nexpose
• In-depth knowledge of security concepts, including cyber-attacks, exploitation methods, and threat modeling
• Working understanding of information security standards and frameworks such as ISO27001 and MITRE ATT&CK
• Proficiency in Business English, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within an MSSP (Managed Security Service Provider) environment
• Previous experience working in the UAE
• Knowledge of network security, endpoint security, and threat detection systems

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver and govern Vulnerability and Compliance Management services to customers
• Manage the end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle, including assessment, prioritization, and remediation coordination
• Develop and enhance vulnerability management services, processes, and capabilities
• Maintain regular communication with customers and lead regular security meetings
• Create reports, dashboards, and metrics for SOC operations and senior management presentation
• Provide guidance to customers on security maturity, best practices, and current threats
• Contribute to threat advisories based on the latest vulnerabilities and emerging threats
• Monitor and improve processes to ensure high-quality execution in line with committed SLAs
