HR Specialist
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- 0–2 years of experience in HR, administrative support, or customer-facing roles
- Strong communication skills—you know how to explain things clearly and professionally
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize effectively
- Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion
- Customer-service mindset with a focus on helping and supporting others
- Experience in high-volume or multi-state environments is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions related to HR policies, processes, and basic benefits
- Process employee lifecycle changes including new hires, transfers, job changes, and terminations
- Support onboarding and offboarding to ensure a smooth and positive experience
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely updates in HR systems
- Assist with leave of absence tracking and documentation
- Support compliance efforts, audits, and reporting as needed
- Identify trends, recurring questions, and opportunities to improve HR processes
