REQUIREMENTS

DHA Massage Therapist license or DHA registration/eligibility to obtain the professional license is mandatory.
Recognized Massage Therapy qualification/training of at least 500 hours, including educational and supervised clinical instruction.
Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
Must meet the applicable DHA/UAE requirements to practice as a Massage Therapist in a Dubai healthcare facility.
Candidates must be able to provide relevant educational, professional licensing, and experience documentation when required.

Experience & Profile

Proven experience as a Medical Massage Therapist / Therapeutic Massage Therapist.
Experience working in a hospital, medical centre, rehabilitation facility, or clinical healthcare environment is highly preferred.
VIP/private client, luxury wellness, or high-end healthcare experience is a strong advantage.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, contraindications, and therapeutic massage techniques.
Experience supporting patients with muscular pain, mobility limitations, rehabilitation needs, sports injuries, or other therapeutic requirements.
Excellent patient-care and communication skills.
Professional, compassionate, discreet, and respectful personality.
Strong understanding of hospital hygiene and infection-control procedures.
Ability to work collaboratively with doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professional boundaries.

RESPONSIBILITES

Provide professional medical and therapeutic massage treatments to VIP patients based on individual needs and approved treatment plans.
Conduct appropriate pre-treatment consultations and understand the patient’s condition, preferences, and treatment requirements.
Apply appropriate massage techniques to support pain management, muscle relaxation, mobility, circulation, and rehabilitation.
Provide a highly personalized and discreet service appropriate for VIP patients.
Coordinate with physicians, physiotherapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals where required.
Monitor patient comfort and response during and after treatment and report any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professional.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient treatment records.
Work strictly within the approved professional scope of practice.
Maintain hospital hygiene, infection-control, health, and patient-safety standards.
Ensure treatment rooms, equipment, linens, and supplies are clean, sanitized, organized, and properly maintained.
Maintain complete patient privacy, dignity, confidentiality, and professional boundaries at all times.
Provide appropriate aftercare guidance within the scope of professional practice.
Demonstrate flexibility in responding to VIP patient schedules and individual requirements.
Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements.
