Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong knowledge of high-risk payment operations, including local bank transfers, IBANs, card processing, and cryptocurrency payments
• Experience with alternative payment methods (APMs) and managing complex payment routing
• Strong problem-solving abilities to resolve complex operational or program-related issues independently
• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining accountability for operational outcomes
• Experience in a CFD brokerage, Payment Service Provider (PSP), or cryptocurrency exchange environment is preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the Payment Operations function and oversee transaction processing for a global CFD brokerage and cryptocurrency exchange
• Manage timely and accurate payment processing across all supported products, markets, and jurisdictions using defined KPIs
• Improve payment success rates and reduce churn through strategic initiatives, optimized offerings, and improved transaction routing
• Maintain payment infrastructure and PSP availability to achieve 99.9% uptime by jurisdiction
• Manage PSP relationships, maintenance windows, and service changes to minimize customer impact
• Increase automation of payment processing activities in line with quarterly targets
• Mentor and manage a globally distributed Financial Operations team to maintain consistent performance and service standards
• Manage chargeback and dispute processing within agreed service level agreements (SLAs)
• Coordinate with development and technology teams to improve the customer payment experience
