Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with fiber optics, VoIP systems, and wireless network technologies is preferred.
- Candidates of any nationality are welcome; however, familiarity with local regulations is a plus.
- Strong technical skills in troubleshooting and repairing telecom hardware and software systems are crucial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking to tackle complex technical challenges.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job, including lifting equipment and climbing ladders when necessary.
RESPONSIBILTIES
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot telecom systems, ensuring seamless operation and minimal downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of equipment to identify and rectify issues proactively.
- Configure and optimize network equipment, including routers and switches, to enhance overall system performance.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns efficiently.
- Document all maintenance activities and service calls thoroughly for future reference and compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement upgrades and enhancements to existing telecom infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance metrics and implement solutions to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Assist in the design and layout of new telecom installations, adhering to regulatory standards and safety protocols.
- Train junior technicians and staff on best practices and emerging technologies within the telecom sector.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements to ensure the organization’s competitive edge in technology.
