Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Possess a valid PCN Level 2 certification in at least two NDT methods (e.g., UT, MPT, DPT, VT, or ECT).
- Hold a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience as an NDT Technician in relevant industries such as oil & gas, fabrication, or manufacturing.
- Have a strong understanding of material science, welding processes, and common defect types.
- Demonstrate proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and codes (e.g., ASME, API, BS EN).
RESPONSIBILITES
- Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using PCN certified methods like Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT), Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Eddy Current Testing (ECT) to detect surface and subsurface flaws.
- Interpret and evaluate NDT test results against applicable codes, standards, and specifications, identifying and documenting any discontinuities.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, clearly outlining findings, methodologies used, and recommendations for further action or acceptance.
- Calibrate and maintain NDT equipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with calibration schedules and manufacturer guidelines.
