Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in *Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field*.
*Minimum 7–10 years of UAE experience in Interior Design / Interior Fit-Out projects.*
*Strong Interior Fit-Out and ID background is mandatory.*
Proven experience in technical design coordination, shop drawings, construction documentation, and site execution.
Strong knowledge of *interior finishes, joinery, materials, construction methods, and MEP coordination*.
Excellent ability to read, review, and interpret architectural, ID, MEP, and shop drawings.
Advanced proficiency in *AutoCAD* is mandatory; knowledge of Revit is an added advantage.
Experience with material submittals, technical submissions, consultant approvals, RFIs, and design coordination.
Strong understanding of UAE construction standards and local authority requirements.
Experience working on *commercial, retail, hospitality, F&B, office, or high-end residential fit-out projects* is preferred.
Strong leadership, coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage multiple technical requirements and deadlines simultaneously.
*PMP certification will be an added advantage.*
UAE Driving License will be an added advantage.
Immediate joiners or candidates available on short notice will be preferred.

RESPONSIBILITES

Lead and manage the technical design and documentation process for interior fit-out projects.
Review and develop detailed *shop drawings, construction drawings, and technical details* for interior works.
Coordinate between *Interior Design, Architecture, MEP, Joinery, and Site teams* to ensure designs are technically feasible and execution-ready.
Review design drawings and identify technical issues, clashes, discrepancies, and constructability concerns.
Manage the preparation, submission, review, and approval of shop drawings and technical documents.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, designers, and project teams to resolve technical queries and design issues.
Review and coordinate *material submittals, material specifications, samples, and technical submissions*.
Ensure drawings and technical documentation comply with project specifications, authority requirements, and approved design intent.
Provide technical support to Project Managers and Site Teams during project execution.
Coordinate with joinery and specialist subcontractors to ensure technical requirements are clearly communicated and implemented.
Review site conditions and provide technical solutions for design and construction challenges.
Monitor technical submissions and approvals to ensure they align with project schedules.
Support value engineering by identifying practical and cost-effective technical solutions without compromising design quality.
Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, technical submissions, and approvals.
Lead technical coordination meetings and provide guidance to junior technical/design team members.
