REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in civil construction project coordination.
Proven track record of successfully coordinating diverse civil engineering projects (e.g., infrastructure, buildings).
Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management tools (e.g., MS Project).

RESPONSIBILITES

Oversee the daily execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications and timelines.
Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and external consultants to resolve technical challenges and facilitate smooth workflow.
Review and approve technical drawings, method statements, and shop drawings, verifying compliance with project requirements and standards.
Manage the procurement and delivery of construction materials, ensuring quality control and timely availability on site.
Ensure all engineering deliverables comply with project specifications, local authority requirements, and relevant codes and standards.
Support authority approval processes, including submissions to regulatory bodies and consultants.
Participate in technical coordination meetings and prepare records of discussions, action items, and follow-ups.
Assist site teams with technical clarifications, construction methodologies, and as-built documentation.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for timely submission and approval of materials, shop drawings, and technical calculations.
Support value engineering initiatives and recommend cost-effective technical solutions without compromising quality and compliance.
Conduct site visits to verify construction works, resolve technical issues, and ensure implementation aligns with approved drawings
Maintain project technical logs, submittal trackers, RFI registers, and approval status reports.
