REQUIREMENTS
- Strong analytical, organizational, and relationship-support skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional regional languages are an advantage.
- Strong time management, able to handle different time zones, multiple cases and deadlines under pressure.

- High sense of confidentiality, professionalism, and ownership.
- Ability to thrive in fast-moving, high-volume, detail-heavy reinsurance support environments.
- Strong sense of ownership and doesn’t need reminders to update pipelines or close loops.
- Ability to switch comfortably between submissions, documentation, follow-up coordination, and data tracking without losing accuracy.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data handling.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in facultative reinsurance broking or reinsurance operations/support role.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Insurance, Finance or related field. Professional insurance qualification (e.g., CII or equivalent) is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support assigned Brokers in managing markets and portfolios, ensuring every enquiry, renewal, follow-up, and deadline is tracked and executed on time.
- Assist in converting incoming enquiries (offers) into bound placements by coordinating structuring, marketing, and follow-up activities with reinsurers under Broker guidance.
- Review and organize risk submissions, slips, and underwriting information to assist in preparing clear, accurate presentations for markets.
- Support negotiations by preparing comparative terms, tracking reinsurer responses, and following up on capacity, pricing, conditions and timelines as directed by the Broker.
- Assist in advising cedants on appropriate reinsurance structures and solutions, including limits, layers, markets, subjectivities and warranties implications, under the direction of the Broker.
- Provide administrative and technical support during negotiations, risk management discussions, and claims-related discussions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate placement documentation: Slips, underwriter submissions, policy wordings, endorsements, and bespoke clauses as directed by the Broker.
- Support the building and retention of relationships with cedants, reinsurers, and other partners through timely, professional, and consistent communication.
- Accompany and assist Brokers during travel to key markets and conferences as required.
- Maintain absolute confidentiality and compliance across all documents and communication.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal SOPs, regulatory requirements, and company compliance standards.
- Prepare timely reports and updates on pipeline status, pending follow-ups, conversions, and market feedback to support Broker oversight.
