Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in café, restaurant, bakery, dessert, or F&B operations.
- Previous experience as Café Manager, Restaurant Supervisor, Store Manager, Shift Leader, or Assistant Manager.
- UAE experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership and staff management skills.
- Good knowledge of coffee shop operations, customer service, inventory, and cost control.
- Ability to work under pressure during busy hours.
- Strong communication skills in English. Arabic is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of POS systems, daily sales reports, and basic Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
- Presentable, professional, punctual, and customer-focused.
- Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts when required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the daily operations of the café and ensure smooth service.
- Supervise baristas, cashiers, service staff, and kitchen/support team.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, cleanliness, product quality, and presentation.
- Monitor daily sales, cash handling, POS transactions, and end-of-day reports.
- Train, motivate, and evaluate staff performance.
- Prepare staff schedules and ensure proper attendance and discipline.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and find quick solutions.
- Monitor stock levels, ordering, inventory, wastage, and cost control.
- Ensure all products are prepared according to café standards.
- Support sales growth through upselling, promotions, customer engagement, and branch improvement ideas.
- Coordinate with suppliers and ensure timely availability of ingredients and packaging.
- Maintain hygiene, food safety, and municipality compliance standards.
- Report daily/weekly performance to the owner or management.
- Identify operational issues and recommend practical improvements.
