Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil, Structural or related
• Minimum 10 years overall experience. at least 4 and relevant experience in recognised main contracting companies.
• Proficiency in Engineering Coordination including RCC Frames, Structural Steel and Rebar.
• Relevant design software experience (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinating site measurements, preparing detailed technical drawings, securing client approvals, and handling project-related permits and documentation, ensuring smooth execution from concept to final inspection.
• Take site measurements to prepare concept layout plans and obtain client approval.
• Prepare all technical detailed drawings for site execution reference.
• Maintain strong knowledge of relevant authorities, including DM, DCD, JAFZA, DDA, TRAKHEES, NAKHEEL, and DEWA, along with their permit-related documents and processes.
• Assist the Design Department with site measurements and develop as-built DWG.
• Obtain client approvals on all submitted drawings, sample forms, boards, and MEP drawings.
• Prepare and arrange sample forms for client approval.
• Create detailed working drawings, including joinery and MEP details, for execution purposes.
• Manage site mobilization documents and complete the necessary processes.
• Prepare revised drawings based on site conditions.
• Handle permit arrangements, control, and updates.
• Provide regular updates to the project team regarding submission progress.
• Handover project-related documents, drawings, sample forms, and BOQ samples to the Operations Department.
• Coordinate site marking activities with the Operations Department.
• Provide necessary support to the site team as required.
• Obtain signed completion reports from the site team and submit project completion reports to clients for confirmation before applying for final inspection.
• Arrange all required documentation to apply for final inspection.
• Compile complete documentation/files and hand over to clients and authorities.
