Staff Cloud Security Engineer

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• 6+ years of experience in security engineering, application security, or DevSecOps
• Expertise in securing, auditing, and hardening AWS environments
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js
• Strong understanding of OIDC, SAML, and OAuth protocols
• Experience with vulnerability remediation and strategic framework-level fixes

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and build automated security tools and self-service security guardrails
• Drive triage and resolution of security vulnerabilities across the backend stack
• Write code to patch CVEs and partner with engineering for structural fixes
• Lead technical hardening of AWS production environments
• Conduct threat modeling and security architecture reviews for complex systems
