REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in structural steel erection or similar heavy industrial construction.
Proven leadership experience, managing and motivating diverse teams in demanding site environments.
Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent; technical trade school or apprenticeship completion is highly desirable.
Valid certifications in relevant areas such as rigging, crane signaling, or scaffold erection.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and supervise a crew of erection workers, ensuring efficient workflow and task completion on-site.
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and erection drawings to accurately guide the installation of structural components.
Oversee the safe operation of lifting equipment, such as cranes and hoists, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.
Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce strict adherence to safety regulations, hazard identification, and risk mitigation.
Supervise daily structural steel erection activities.
Coordinate installation of columns, beams, trusses, bracings, staircases, handrails, and miscellaneous steel works.
Allocate work to erectors, riggers, welders, and helpers.
Monitor site productivity and ensure timely completion of activities.
Coordinate crane operations, rigging, and lifting activities.
Ensure erection works comply with approved drawings and project specifications.
Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce HSE requirements.
Coordinate with Site Engineers, QA/QC, and Safety teams.
Monitor material availability and site equipment utilization.
Report daily progress, manpower status, and site issues.
