Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
– Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Engineer focusing on finishing works within the construction industry.
– Strong knowledge of finishing materials, methods, and quality standards.
– Excellent organizational and communication skills.
– Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
– Proficient in using project management and reporting tools.
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Familiarity with UAE construction regulations and safety standards is preferred.
– Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Supervise and manage all finishing works including plastering, tiling, painting, and flooring on site to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
– Coordinate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of finishing tasks.
– Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
– Prepare daily reports and maintain accurate records of progress, issues, and materials used.
– Resolve any technical issues related to finishing works and provide practical solutions promptly.
– Ensure all work is executed in line with contract requirements and industry standards.
– Manage material delivery schedules, inventory, and ensure proper usage to avoid wastage.
– Collaborate with the quality control team to conduct inspections and rectify defects efficiently.
