Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 7 years of professional development experience
• Expertise in TypeScript, Node, PostgreSQL, and GraphQL
• Proficiency in database schema design and writing performant SQL queries
• Experience with frontend frameworks and patterns such as React and React Query
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to bridge technical constraints and product needs

Preferred

• Experience implementing modern JavaScript libraries like SpreadJS, HyperFormula, FinnFlo-js, or AG Grid
• Background in building computation-heavy services where accuracy and performance are critical
• Interest in emerging tools like AI-assisted coding

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own and lead technical projects from product ideation to successful execution
• Make technical decisions regarding architectural designs, data structures, and development approaches
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design to architect high-performance, user-centric features
• Identify new technologies and best practices to improve team and department performance
• Lead cross-team initiatives to improve developer experience and operating processes
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers
