Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be an Emirati national with a family book.
• 2-3 years of experience in information security (e.g., security operations, incident analysis, or firewall administration).
• 2-3 years of experience in network operations, engineering, or system administration (Unix, Linux, or Windows).
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in both English and Arabic (written and verbal) is mandatory.
• Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 environment.

Preferred

• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CISSP, GCA, GCIA, GCIH, or CEH.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools like Splunk, LogRhythm, Qradar, or Alien Vault.
• Knowledge of Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, networking, and common attack types (DoS, DDoS, Man-in-the-middle, etc.).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor multiple security technologies including SIEM, IDS/IPS, Firewalls, Switches, and VPNs to detect IT security incidents.
• Correlate and analyze events using SIEM tools such as Splunk, LogRhythm, or QRadar.
• Conduct log file analysis and forensic analysis of system resource access.
• Follow operational procedures to analyze, escalate, and assist in the remediation of critical security incidents.
• Respond to inbound technical assistance requests within documented SLAs.
• Document all actions in cases to ensure effective communication with internal teams and customers.
• Maintain high awareness of the current threat landscape and participate in knowledge sharing.
• Work in a rotating shift pattern within a 24/7 operating environment.
