Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of quota-carrying sales or partnerships experience
- Proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
- Experience selling into government or government-adjacent environments
- Background in GovTech or public sector SaaS
- Experience with enterprise SLED (State, Local, and Education) sales
- Ability to operate independently in a high-agency, startup environment
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the full lifecycle of government opportunities from initial qualification through to signed partnerships and paid deployments
- Manage a revenue target focused on closing Signed Design Partnerships (SDPs)
- Build and advance a pipeline of public sector opportunities across city, state, and federal agencies
- Navigate complex government buying processes and multi-stakeholder environments
- Drive momentum in ambiguous settings to convert interest into committed pilots
- Partner with product and engineering teams to translate customer needs into deployable solutions
- Act as a hybrid seller and early account owner to maintain momentum post-close
