REQUIREMENTS

12–18 years of experience within construction supervision or site-based roles, currently operating as a Resident Engineer or in a similar senior position within a consultancy environment.

You will have strong experience delivering luxury villas, high-end residential, or hospitality projects, with a clear understanding of the level of detail and quality expected on these types of developments.

A strong technical background is essential, including the ability to review drawings, shop drawings, and specifications, along with a solid understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and QA/QC processes.

You should be confident managing contractors on site, leading multidisciplinary teams, and acting as a client-facing representative. Strong communication skills are important, along with the ability to resolve issues efficiently and maintain control on complex projects.

UAE experience is required, including knowledge of local regulations, authority processes, and site practices.

A degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is expected, and a UAE driving licence is typically required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Act as the lead on-site representative for the consultancy, taking full responsibility for the delivery of construction works across large-scale private residential and hospitality projects in Dubai.

Overseeing site activities to ensure all works are executed in line with approved drawings, specifications, and the original design intent. You will coordinate closely with contractors, consultants, and the internal architecture and interior design teams to maintain quality, resolve technical issues, and keep projects progressing in line with programme.

You will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, leading inspections, reviewing shop drawings and material submissions, and ensuring compliance with local authority requirements. The role also involves leading progress meetings, issuing instructions, managing site teams, and maintaining full oversight of QA/QC processes.

A key part of the role is protecting the design throughout construction, particularly on high-end villa and hospitality projects where detailing, finishes, and coordination are critical.
