Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

– Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field.
– Extensive experience (5 years) in graphic design, preferably in an advertising agency or creative studio.
– Exceptional proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
– Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, demonstrating creative concepts, technical expertise, and attention to detail.
– Expert knowledge of design principles, typography, color theory, composition, and layout.
– Proven experience in leading and managing design projects, coordinating workflows, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
– Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate design concepts, provide rationale, and receive feedback.
– Ability to provide effective design direction, mentorship, and feedback to junior designers.
– Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Design leadership: Provide creative direction and guidance to junior designers, ensuring cohesive and impactful design output across multiple projects.
– Concept development: Generate innovative design concepts and strategies that align with client objectives and brand guidelines.
– Brand strategy and identity: Collaborate with account managers to develop brand strategies and implement consistent visual identities across all touchpoints.
– Design project management: Oversee design projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and client requirements.
– Client collaboration: Engage in client meetings, presentations, and feedback sessions, effectively communicating design concepts, responding to client needs, and providing creative recommendations.
– Mentorship and guidance: Mentor and inspire junior designers, providing constructive feedback, fostering their growth, and promoting a collaborative and innovative design culture.
– Quality control: Ensure the highest level of design quality and consistency, conducting design reviews, providing feedback, and implementing improvements.
– Collaboration and coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including copywriters, account managers, animators and production, to ensure seamless integration of design with other elements.
– Stay updated with design trends: Continuously research and explore emerging design trends, techniques, and technologies, incorporating innovative ideas into design projects.
