Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in procurement/purchasing within the wooden joinery, interior fit-out, or fire-rated doors industry.

Strong knowledge of wooden joinery materials, hardware, and fire-rated door components.

Experience in supplier sourcing, price negotiations, and vendor management.

Good understanding of the UAE market and local suppliers.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/procurement software.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

UAE driving licence is an advantage.

RESPONSIBILITES

Procure materials related to wooden joinery, interior fit-out, and fire-rated wooden doors and frames.

Source timber, plywood, MDF, veneers, laminates, hardware, ironmongery, adhesives, paints, and other joinery materials.

Obtain quotations, evaluate suppliers, negotiate prices, and issue purchase orders.

Coordinate with the factory, projects, stores, and accounts departments to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.

Maintain supplier relationships and develop new vendors.

Monitor inventory levels and ensure uninterrupted material availability.

Ensure purchased materials comply with project specifications and fire-rated standards.

Track deliveries and resolve procurement-related issues.

Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare cost comparison reports.
