Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is essential for a foundational understanding.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in procurement or purchasing within a fast-paced industry is highly preferred.
- Certifications such as Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) are advantageous.
- Proven experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships effectively is a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct detailed market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities, ensuring alignment with company needs.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure the best possible deals while maintaining quality standards.
- Manage purchase orders from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate processing to meet operational demands.
- Collaborate with internal departments to forecast purchasing needs based on inventory levels and sales projections.
