Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, prefer QBO Pro.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and technical accounting concepts.
- Experience with double-entry bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and general ledger management.
- Knowledge of non-profit accounting practices is a plus.
- Ability to perform bank reconciliations, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation efficiently.
- Ability to interpret financial data accurately and prepare comprehensive financial reports.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with Executive Director and ability to adhere to deadlines.
- Problem solver.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Record and process journal entries using accounting software such as QuickBooks to ensure accurate financial data.
- Perform account reconciliations, including bank statements, general ledger accounts, and balance sheet accounts, adhering to GAAP standards.
- Import sales transactions from multiple sales platforms.
- Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to verify account accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Proactively identify errors.
- Support general ledger accounting activities, including posting journal entries and maintaining the integrity of the financial records.
