Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in interior fit-out, contracting, or construction projects, including at least 2 years in the UAE/GCC.
- Valid UAE Driving License.
- Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and BOQs.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and MS Project or Primavera.
- Strong knowledge of UAE authority permit procedures and project documentation.
- Excellent coordination, document control, multitasking, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Support project documentation processes by creating, updating, and maintaining project plans, reports, presentations, and other project records.
- Keep track of, organize, and control all project documentation, ensuring documents are accurately filed, updated, distributed, and maintained in accordance with company procedures and document control standards.
- Monitor daily project activities, track progress against schedules, update timelines, and ensure project milestones are achieved within established deadlines.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, progress reports, status updates, and document control logs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the Project Manager, internal teams, clients, consultants, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Coordinate project resources by ensuring teams have the required equipment, materials, and tools while assisting in monitoring project costs and expenditures.
- Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings to ensure compliance with permit submission requirements.
- Prepare, compile, and process permit applications for submission to developers and authorities, including Emaar, Nakheel, and other regulatory bodies.
- Liaise with developers, consultants, and relevant authorities to track permit approvals, respond to comments, and facilitate timely clearances.
- Maintain accurate records of permit submissions, approvals, revisions, and related documentation to ensure compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in identifying potential project delays and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently, ensuring smooth project execution in the construction field.
