Product Engineer – Mobile Money & Digital Payments

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• At least five years of professional product-engineering experience.
• Fluent English.Strong software-engineering and problem-solving ability.
• Willingness to work across the product and engineering stack.
• Ability to communicate clearly with distributed teams.
• Willingness to travel to an operating market at least once per year for a minimum of six consecutive days.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Build and improve the ways customers make payments with Wave.
• Own features and improvements from design through deployment.Work within an autonomous, cross-functional product and engineering team.
• Develop payment experiences including merchant payments, utility-bill payments, business payroll and transportation payments.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers and customer-support teams.
• Work across the technology stack where required.
• Help monitor and resolve issues affecting customers and production systems
