Pre-Sales Development Engineer

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent technical discipline
• 5-8 years of experience in the HVAC industry (pre-sales, business development, or technical sales support)
• Strong technical knowledge of VRF and DX system design, equipment selection, and heat load calculations
• Proven track record working with distributors, MEP consultants, contractors, and developers in UAE/GCC
• Experience preparing technical submittals and techno-commercial proposals
• Valid UAE driving license
• English fluency; Arabic is a plus

RESPONSIBILITES

• Support distributors across GCC by responding to technical inquiries and assisting with equipment selection for VRF and DX projects
• Resolve complex Hitachi VRF and DX system selection inquiries to reduce lead times on mega-project bids
• Review technical submittals, compliance statements, and documentation for projects across UAE and GCC
• Evaluate distributor technical competency and deliver structured quarterly training programs
• Conduct product selection training, installation training for contractors, and technical workshops
