Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

·        Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

·        Minimum of 7+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in an architectural or construction setting.

·        Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or planning (e.g., PSP) is highly desirable.

RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Project Planning and Scheduling:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules using industry-standard software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Define project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines in collaboration with the design, construction, and client teams.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions to ensure timely delivery.

2. Resource Management:

  • Allocate resources effectively across multiple projects to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Forecast manpower, material, and financial requirements to align with project objectives.
  • Collaborate with department heads to address resource constraints or adjustments.

3. Risk Management:

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate risks throughout the project lifecycle, implementing contingency plans as needed.
  • Report on critical path analysis and potential delays to stakeholders.

4. Coordination and Communication:

  • Act as a liaison between clients, design teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure alignment on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key achievements and challenges.
  • Facilitate regular coordination meetings to review progress, address issues, and update schedules.

5. Compliance and Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure project plans and schedules adhere to company standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of project schedules, changes, and approvals.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and planning tools for continuous improvement.
