Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, ensuring a solid technical foundation.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in planning and scheduling within the construction or engineering industry.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PMI-SP (Scheduling Professional) are highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project, demonstrating technical competence in project management tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively relay complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages can be beneficial, especially in multinational projects.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to foresee project challenges and propose proactive solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills paired with a high level of adaptability to changing project requirements and environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in an architectural or construction setting.

RESPONSIBILITIE

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using advanced scheduling software to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to gather project requirements and align schedules with project milestones and deliverables.
  • Perform critical path analysis to identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions that optimize project timelines.
  • Regularly update and communicate project status reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement contingency planning to mitigate potential delays and resource shortages.
  • Facilitate meetings with project teams to discuss schedule adherence, resource allocation, and any necessary adjustments.
  • Utilize earned value management techniques to measure project performance and forecast future project needs.
  • Monitor and analyze productivity metrics to improve efficiency and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing schedule performance for executive-level review.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules using industry-standard software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Define project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines in collaboration with the design, construction, and client teams.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions to ensure timely delivery.
  • Resource Management:
  • Allocate resources effectively across multiple projects to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Forecast manpower, material, and financial requirements to align with project objectives.
  • Collaborate with department heads to address resource constraints or adjustments.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate risks throughout the project lifecycle, implementing contingency plans as needed.
  • Report on critical path analysis and potential delays to stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, design teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure alignment on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key achievements and challenges.
  • Facilitate regular coordination meetings to review progress, address issues, and update schedules.
  • Ensure project plans and schedules adhere to company standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Maintain accurate documentation of project schedules, changes, and approvals.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and planning tools for continuous improvement.
