Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- 1–2+ years of Personal Injury Paralegal experience (auto, premises, workers’ comp, etc.).
- Strong understanding of personal injury processes from intake through settlement or litigation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with technology and case management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Litigation experience including state/federal court, discovery, and trial preparation.
- Experience summarizing medical records and understanding medical terminology.
- Familiarity with lien resolution processes.
- Experience with Salesforce, Litify, or similar legal software.
- Paralegal certificate or degree from an ABA-accredited program.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support clients and attorneys through the full lifecycle of personal injury cases, including case development and litigation assistance.
- Manage medical records and bills by requesting, tracking, and organizing documentation from healthcare providers.
- Coordinate with medical providers, insurance carriers, and lien holders to ensure accurate case documentation.
- Assist in demand preparation by assembling settlement packages, medical summaries, and supporting evidence.
- Provide litigation support through drafting discovery responses, organizing exhibits, and coordinating depositions or mediations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case information within the firm’s case management system.
