Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

● Previous permit coordination experience is required. Minimum 2+ years of permit coordination experience, preferably in telecom, CATV, fiber, or utility infrastructure.

● Strong understanding of ROW, JU, municipality, utility, and telecom permitting processes.

● Ability to read and interpret CATV prints, OSP design drawings, and construction documents.

● Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize workload effectively.

● Proficiency in Windows-based computer systems and MS Office (Excel is a must).

● Working knowledge of KML/KMZ, AutoCAD drawings, Excel or Google Sheets.

● Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

● Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.

● Must be highly motivated, dependable, and able to learn in a fast-paced environment.

● Ability to work collaboratively and assist team members as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Manage a high volume of permit submissions and maintain accurate status updates for all pending permits.

● Maintain an accurate permit approval schedule projected for the customer.

● Perform QC on CATV prints against segment design prints to ensure accuracy.

● Update inhouse propreitery software and trackers for job tracking.

● Handle ROW verification, job quoting, and ROW/JU permit management through approval.

● Assign permits to design teams and conduct permit QC review before submission to the clients and permitting entity.

● Coordinate ROW, JU, traffic control, railroad, and municipality permit requirements.

● Issue work assignments to the field teams and provide technical support as needed.

● Participate in client conference calls for project updates.

● Assist with creating and maintaining office policies and procedures.

● Act as a primary point of contact with clients for assisting on projects.

● Ensure completeness of permit documentation, including construction drawings, traffic control plans, engineering exhibits, and supporting documentation.

● Maintain paperless filing and documentation tracking.
