Payroll Specialist
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with payroll software such as ADP, Paychex, or similar platforms is essential.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification is a significant advantage.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages
- Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail to ensure accuracy in payroll processing.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with employees and management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet applications for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain integrity at all times.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate wage disbursement for all employees.
- Calculate and process bonuses, commissions, and overtime pay while adhering to company policies and labor laws.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies through thorough investigation and effective communication with employees and management.
- Maintain payroll records and reports, ensuring compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
- Stay updated on payroll tax laws and regulations, implementing necessary changes to maintain compliance.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee data, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay rates.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll processes and systems to identify and correct errors proactively.
- Prepare and submit payroll-related reports for management analysis and decision-making.
- Assist in the annual budget preparation by providing payroll forecasts and expense reports.
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries and issues, fostering trust and transparency.
