Payroll Experienced Professional
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in payroll within shared services or outsourced environments.
- Demonstrated knowledge of UK and Ireland payroll processes and legislation.
- Solid understanding of payroll reconciliations, controls, and audits.
- Experience working with external payroll providers.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Workday and ServiceNow would be advantageous
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing with the Payroll Partner, ensuring all inputs are accurate and submitted on time
- Own payroll inputs, validations, reconciliations, and post-payroll checks to ensure outputs are accurate and aligned
- Build strong understanding of how inputs impact pay outcomes (e.g. salary, deductions, tax, statutory payments)
- Partner with HR to ensure accurate payroll processing across employee lifecycle events (starters, changes, leavers)
- Maintain robust payroll controls and ensure compliance with internal policies, audit standards, and legislation
- Manage payroll queries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
- Support payroll reporting, audits, and documentation requirements
- Identify and drive continuous improvements across payroll and broader HR processes
