Organizational Representative Payee
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience working with Organizational Representative Payee services strongly preferred
- Experience working directly with the Social Security Administration (SSA) preferred
- Strong understanding of financial management, client fund handling, and organizational compliance
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, QuickBooks, and data entry systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently while helping develop new systems and processes
- Previous administrative, clerical, office management, or human services experience preferred
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
- Experience in healthcare, residential services, behavioral health, or social services is highly desirable
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the setup and development of Organizational Representative Payee services
- Provide guidance on SSA requirements, procedures, and compliance standards
- Help establish operational workflows, policies, and financial management systems
- Assist with client fund management procedures and banking/account structure
- Coordinate communication with SSA offices, financial institutions, and internal staff
- Support office management tasks such as documentation, filing, tracking systems, and recordkeeping
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, QuickBooks, and other systems for administrative and financial tracking
- Maintain accurate client records, ledgers, and reporting processes
- Provide support with onboarding procedures, documentation preparation, and compliance readiness
- Assist leadership in building and improving the Representative Payee program as the organization grows
- Help train or guide staff regarding best practices and operational standards
- Work alongside our leadership team to help build and develop this new service within the organization
