REQUIREMENTS

• Prior ophthalmology billing experience is required
• Familiarity with ophthalmic CPT codes (e.g., cataract surgery, laser procedures, office visits)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting
• High ethical standards and professionalism

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ophthalmology medical billing and claims submission
• CPT and ICD-10 coding accuracy (including cataract surgery and office procedures)
• Insurance follow-ups, payment posting, and denial resolution
• Maintaining compliance with payer and documentation requirements
• Working directly with the physician owner to ensure clean claims and efficient revenue cycle management
