Operations Specialist
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- 3-4 years of multi-site leadership experience in grocery, retail, or last-mile operations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex dashboards and grocery metrics
- Excellent communication skills for managing relationships with both on-ground staff and senior leadership
- Proficiency in using mobile/tablet applications and operational reporting tools
- Valid UAE driving licence and access to your own transport
Preferred
- Experience scaling new store launches or “dark store” operations in the Middle East
- Project management experience within a high-growth tech or e-commerce environment
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee multiple grocery sites and mentor a team of Senior Operations Associates through structured field coaching
- Optimize performance by analyzing key KPIs such as picking time, accuracy, and rejection rates
- Implement data-driven action plans to address performance gaps and operational inefficiencies
- Conduct regular store walkthroughs and audits to ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain and Central Ops to resolve escalations and manage stakeholder relationships
- Consolidate cluster-level insights for Weekly and Monthly Business Reviews to present strategic recommendations to Regional Managers
